All right! Here's the journal I said I would post about the specialness of today XD.

9 years ago today, I was in a terrible car accident. Here's how the story goes . I'll try to make it brief and non-graphic so you guys aren't...sick by the time I finish ....

So! My parents had gotten divorced, blah, blah, and my Mom had come out to visit my sister and I for a week or so like she liked to do. My mom's friend, my mom, my older sister and I decided we all wanted to drive my Mom to the airport to see her off. (Keep in mind, we were in the very far-right lane) We were about to get off of our exit on the freeway (from what I remember), when this green suburban with darkened windows started turning into our lane.

He apparently wasn't paying attention when he started to turn into our lane, because he wasn't ahead of us far enough to properly turn into our lane. My mom's friend (the driver) started to swerve because she didn't know what to do, and the moment the guy finally saw us, he started swerving. We could have slammed on our brakes so he could get over, but we could have killed the people behind us (STUPID TAILGATERS!). Instead, we decided to spare the lives of the people behind us and swerve off the right side of the road. Unknown to us, a huge 75 foot hill was just off the side of the road. We started going down it normally, with the front of the car facing forward, but the car started to turn a little, and it ended up rolling down this hill. On the first or second roll, my seatbelt snapped, and I was sent flying out the back window of the car. The glass is what cut up my arm and gave me the scar I have today ^^.

After that, I rolled down the hill with the car and woke up about five minutes later to find that my arm was broken and it hurt really, really bad. I looked over and saw the car on it's side, but it was smoking from the engine. I started hobbling away because I thought it was going to explode, but luckily it didn't. My mom and my sister were able to get out of the car, but my mom's friend couldn't get out through one of the broken windows. My mom came over to me and she started panicking when she saw my arm all torn up, but she told my sister to get a t-shirt to wrap around it to try and stop the bleeding. I passed out before the paramedics arrived.

Later on, I woke up and the medics were hauling me up the hill to the ambulance (it wasn't a pleasant ride). We got in the car and started to drive off. Only minutes later, the ambulance broke down. My mom was so freakin' pissed off. She started yelling at the drivers. They sent down another ambulance, they transferred me from one to the other and drove me off to the hospital. Aaaand that's basically the whole story.

WOW, sorry, I didn't mean for that to be so long D8! But, yeah! That's the story. Sorry for the whole seriousness of all this, but I'm past all that now. I'm calling today my lucky day because all of us survived the wreck and stuff! Yay-ness~! I have pictures of my scar in my scraps if you really want to see them.
